NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds: The Sprint Cup Series will make a return to Daytona Beach, Florida this Saturday for the night time running of the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. The talented, and brash, Kyle Busch is listed as one of the favorites to win the race, presently coming in at 6 to 1 odds in Bodog.com's Kyle Busch NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds.

Kyle Busch comes into this weekend's race with a total of 2108 points, which has him at eighth place in Kyle Busch NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Oddsthe Cup standings and 416 points behind frontrunner Tony Stewart. Busch cracked the top 10 for the first time in four weeks this past weekend at New Hampshire as he finished two spots ahead of his ninth place starting position.

The younger Busch brother has to feel good about his chances this weekend at Daytona. In nine career outings at the track the 24 year old Las Vegas native has one win, four top fives, and four top tens. Last year he took fourth place in the Daytona 500 and he won the 2008 Coke Zero 400. Busch took 41st at Daytona this February due to complications with his car, but dominated the race prior to that, leading 88 of the 152 laps ran.

Busch, who drives the No. 18 M&M's Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, has three wins this year as well as four top fives and six top tens. He has produced an average finish of 17.4 in his last five races, just slightly worse than his 16.2 season average. In 167career races, Busch has 15 wins and 51 top five results.

This weekend's Fourth of July Coke Zero 400 is scheduled to get started at 7:30pm ET at Daytona International Speedway. The event will be televised live on TNT.

Qualifying for the NASCAR Coke Zero 400 will take place Friday, July 3rd at 4:00pm ET. Odds are subject to change after the field has been set.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will celebrate the Fourth of July with a race under the lights at Daytona International Speedway. The 180 lap Coke Zero 400 is scheduled to take place this Saturday at 7:30pm ET; the event will be broadcast live on TNT. Online bookmaker Bodog.com has defending Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson listed at +900 on the moneyline in their NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds.NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds: Jimmie Johnson

Jimmie Johnson did not have the best of luck at Daytona back in February. After earning a seventh place starting position, the three time Cup champion went on to finish a distant 31st in the rain shortened Daytona 500. In fact, he has not finished inside the top 20 in his last three outings at the legendary speedway as he came in 27th and 23rd in the two races there last season.

Johnson, however, should always be considered a contender at the track. In 15 career races at the historic venue, he has two wins and six top five finishes to go along with 11 top 10 conclusions.

The California native enters Saturday's race sitting third in the points standings, and he is now 169 points behind leader Tony Stewart after a ninth place showing in New Hampshire last weekend.

Johnson, who has produced an average finish of 8.6 in his last five races, has two wins and seven top fives in 17 races this year. For his career, the Hendrick Motorsports driver has produced 42 wins in 272 cup races.

Qualifying for the NASCAR Coke Zero 400 will take place Friday, July 3rd at 4:00pm ET. Odds are subject to change after the field has been set.

MLB Picks: Orioles vs Angels MLB Betting Odds - July 2, 2009 PDF Print

MLB Picks: The Baltimore Orioles have made their way to the West Coast to start a three game set with the Angels tonight in Anaheim, California. Both squads, which are coming off series losses to division rivals, will be looking to rebound in this evening's nightcap. The Angels are currently listed as a -155 moneyline favorite by Bodog.com in their MLB Picks: Orioles vs Angels MLB Betting Odds - July 2, 2009.MLB Picks: Orioles vs Angels MLB Betting Odds - July 2, 2009

The Orioles probably had a long flight last night as they suffered a gut-wrenching 11 inning 6-5 loss to the Red Sox at Camden Yards in Baltimore on Wednesday. Just a day after scoring an amazing come-from-behind 11-10 win (down 10-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh), the O's gave up four runs to Boston in the bottom of the ninth to puke away a 5-1 lead in yesterday's afternoon tilt.

The loss dropped Baltimore to 35-43 and left them 13 games behind Boston in the American League East standings. Now they will have to try to recover at a place that has been less than kind to them in recent seasons. The Orioles, which are 11-23 on the road this year, are just 5-14 at Angel Stadium since 2005.

Jeremy Guthrie will take the ball for the Black and Orange tonight. Guthrie, who had a good 2008 campaign (3.64 ERA), has struggled to find his form this year. In 16 starts the Oregon native is 6-7 with a 5.11 ERA. He has had even more difficulty on the road, going 2-3 in six outings with a lofty 6.96 ERA. However, he has had good success at Angel Stadium of late. Over the last three seasons, Guthrie has made two starts at the facility, earning a 1-0 record and 1.80 ERA (.118 opponent batting average).

The Angels escaped Arlington with the lead in the American League West, but just barely. Texas took the last two games of the three game set to close to within a half game of Los Angeles in the standings. Despite the back-to-back losses to the Rangers, the Angels went 4-2 on their six game road swing and they have won six of their last 10 games.

Mike Scioscia has penciled in veteran John Lackey for the game one start tonight. Lackey, who started the year on the disabled list, has not been himself this season, going 2-3 in nine starts with a 5.06 ERA. Surprisingly, the big right-hander has been really poor at Angel Stadium to this point. In two home starts, Lackey is 0-2 with a 5.28 ERA.

On a positive note, though, the Abilene, Texas native looked like his former self in his last start — a seven inning, five hit gem in Arizona that garnered a 2-1 win. Additionally, Lackey is 3-1 against the Orioles over the last three seasons with a 2.70 ERA.

Tonight's game is set for a 10:05pm ET first pitch at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.

Bodog.com MLB Picks: Orioles vs Angels MLB Betting Odds - July 2, 2009

Baltimore Orioles +1.5 (-145), Over 9.5 (+105), +140 (Moneyline)

Los Angeles Angels -1.5 (+125), Under 9.5 (-125), -155 (Moneyline)
