Col. Matt Win is credited with promoting the track and the sport since 1903. With his resources and efforts, Kentucky Derby has been heralded as the major horseracing event today. The race is known in the United States as "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports" for its approximate duration, and is also called "The Run for the Roses" for the blanket of roses draped over the winner. Leading up to the one and a quarter mile race is the two-week-long Kentucky Derby Festival. There are daily events offering various kinds of entertainment. Doyle Brunson knew he had a bounty on his head but did not realize that the Feds would be the one's to claim it.  The online poker community woke up Monday morning to find reports that legendary poker player Doyle Brunson was arrested overnight in Los Angeles.

Gambling911.com has reported that they have made contact with representatives from Brunson’s camp denying the arrest took place and claiming Brunson was actually in Texas.

"As far as we know, Doyle is at home sleeping in his bed. Don't quote me on any of that but we have someone going over to his house to check on him."

The poker legend and spokesperson for DoylesRoom.com recently made a big splash at the Sun Dance Film Festival by hosting an invite-only Celebrity Poker Tournament on January 21st, 2007 with proceeds benefiting Operation Smile.  Actors Danny Masterson, Mathew St. Patrick, Lance Bass, Reichen Lehmkuhl, Nick Cannon, Bijou Phillips and 2006 WSOP Champion Jamie Gold were all in attendance.
