Surprisingly, Vandy put up a good fight last weekend, almost getting the win in Columbia, South Carolina; however, they ultimately fell 10-14 to the Gamecocks. Next week the Commodores face the Florida Gators before closing out the season against Kentucky and Tennessee. The Commodores only chance in this game is to slow down the Yellow Jackets rushing attack. While Vandy's defense has respectable numbers (17.8 points and 321.3 yards per game allowed) they have been weak against the run, giving up 165.4 yards per game on the ground.
