Steelers vs Broncos Monday Night Football Odds: The Denver Broncos look to rebound from their first loss of the season tonight as they host the defending World Champion Steelers. Pittsburgh comes in off a bye week and they need a win this evening to keep pace with the Cincinnati Bengals. Tonight's ESPN Monday Night Football contest is scheduled to get underway at 8:30pm ET at Mile High Stadium in Denver. Monday Night Football Odds at Sportsbetting.com have the Broncos listed as a +3 against the spread home underdog.

Steelers Breakdown: Pittsburgh had its bye last weekend, but preceding the break, Mike Tomlin's squad reeled off four Steelers vs Broncos Monday Night Football Oddsstraight wins to move to 5-2 on the season. They presently trail Cincinnati by a half game in the AFC North standings, which took out Baltimore 17-7 yesterday. During their current win streak the Steelers have averaged 30 points per game while giving up 19.7 per contest. In their last game they handed the Vikings their first loss of the year, winning 27-17 at Heinz Field. Offensively, the team produced a paltry 258 yards, but the defense bridged the gap by scoring two touchdowns.

Next weekend Pittsburgh hosts the Bengals, so, if the Steelers can win tonight, the two teams will enter next Sunday's meeting with 6-2 records and the division lead on the line.

Broncos Breakdown: Denver suffered its first setback of the season last weekend, losing 7-30 at Baltimore. The Broncos offense could do nothing against an amped up Ravens squad, producing a grand total of 200 yards, a tally 144.6 yards short of their season average. Denver's defense played farely well, holding Baltimore to 16 first downs and 292 total yards; however, they let the Ravens stay on the field too long as Joe Flacco and company converted 11-of-18 third downs against them.

Denver is 3-0 at Invesco Field this year where they are averaging 21.3 points per game and giving up a meager 11 per outing. The Broncos currently possess a 6-1 record and a one and a half game lead over the 5-3 Chargers in the AFC West.

Monday Night Football Odds Betting Trend: The Over is 11-2 when Denver has played as a home team on a Monday night following a loss. Denver is 3-0 straight up and against the spread playing as a home dog on a Monday night. The Steelers are 2-8 against the spread and 4-6 straight up playing as a road team coming off a bye.

However, they did show some chinks in the armor as the Falcons racked up 442 yards, 161 of which came on the ground (6.7 yards per carry).
