Auburn vs LSU College Football Picks, College Football Odds & College Football Predictions: Auburn and LSU will battle it out for second place in the SEC West tomorrow as the two teams square off at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Gene Chizek's squad, currently sitting in third place, is 2-2 in conference play while Les Miles' Tigers are 3-1 and a game back of Alabama. The game is set to get underway at 7:30pm ET on ESPN2. College Football Picks at Bodog.com have LSU listed as a -7.5 against the spread favorite.

Auburn fell to 5-2 overall and 2-2 in league play last Saturday after dropping its second consecutive conference game. The Auburn vs LSU College Football Picks, Odds & PredictionsTigers lost 14-21 at home to the Kentucky Wildcats a week after getting blasted by the Razorbacks 23-44 in Fayetteville. Auburn's offense, which is averaging 34.9 points and 464.9 yards per game this season, ground to a halt against the Wildcats, racking up just 16 first downs and 315 yards. Quarterback Chris Todd completed just 10-of-24 passes for 80 yards and one interception. The rushing attack kept the Tigers in the game, though, amassing 220 yards at 4.5 yards per carry.

Auburn's defense, which has been suspect most of the season, yielded 21 first downs and 357 yards to Kentucky. The Wildcats were particularly effective on the ground, amassing 282 rush yards (5.8 yards per carry).

LSU lost for the first time back on October 10th as the Florida Gators came into Baton Rouge and left with a 13-3 victory. The Tigers offense had no answer whatsoever for Urban Meyer's defense, posting a meager 12 first downs and 162 total yards. LSU converted just one third down in nine attempts and held the ball 23:30 compared to the Gators possession time of 36:30. Quarterback Jordan Jefferson was ineffective both passing and rushing as he accounted for a total of 95 yards.

The Tigers defense played well, but still gave up 22 first downs and 327 yards to Tim Tebow and company. The Gators did most of their damage on the ground, gashing LSU for 193 rush yards (4.0 ypc).

LSU should be well rested heading into tomorrow's game with Auburn, and it is highly unlikely that Les Miles' squad would drop back-to-back games at home. However, stranger things have happened.

College Football Picks Betting Trend: LSU is 0-8-2 (1-9 ATS as home fav versus SEC in October) against the spread but 8-2 straight up in their last 10 games as a home favorite versus a conference foe.

The Carolina Panthers play host to the Buffalo Bills, Sunday Oct 25, as the Panthers look for their third straight win. The Bills have won three of the four all-time meetings. NFL oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com have the Panthers as -7 point home favs over the Bills with the over/under set at 36.5 points . Be sure to get your Buffalo Bills vs Carolina Panthers NFL Week 7 Picks in now at Sportsbook.com

The Bills (2-4) won in NY Jets 16-13 (OT) in Week 6 and now sit last in the AFC East. QB Trent Edwards made 5 of 5 passes for 43 yards before he was concussed and sideline. Backup QB Ryan Fitzgerald made 10 of 25 passes for 116 yards with a TD pass and an interception. QB Edwards is listed as doubtful for Sunday. Their top RB Marshawn Lynch had 19 carries for 61 yards, while WR Lee Evans made four catches for 68 yards with a TD. WR Terrell Owens made three catches for a low 13 yards. The Bills hauled down a season high six interceptions.  The Bills best bet is to use their 12th ranked running game against the Panthers 29th ranked rush defense. As for the Bills passing game, good luck against the Panthers second ranked pass defense . It’ll be another low catching game for WR Terrell Owens. WR Lee Evans has a catch in 79 of his past 80 games and K Rian Lindell connected on his 11th game-winning field goal last week. The Bills average 15.5ppg and give up 21.5ppg, while they average 16.7ppg on the road and allow 25.3ppg. They are 3-3 ATS and 3-3 over/under.

The Panthers (2-3) won in Tampa Bay 28-21 in Week 6 and now sit third in the NFC South. QB Jake Delhomme made 9 of 17 passes for 65 yards with one TD pass and two interceptions; overall he’s thrown for 847 yards with four TD passes and 10 interceptions. RB DeAngelo Williams had 30 carries for 152 yards with two TD’s, while RB Jonathan Stewart had 17 carries for 110 yards with a TD. WR Muhsin Muhammed made three catches for 27 yards, while TE Jeff King added a TD. Panthers WR Steve Smith needs to be motivated after catching one pass for four yards. The star receiver told The Charlotte Observer, "I'm no longer an asset to this team.” Look for him to get involved early against the Bills, but bad news for Smith is the Bills are fourth best against the pass. In Julius Pepper’s first three games, he had just nine tackles and one sack. Over the past two weeks Peppers has woken up. He has 12 tackles and four sacks in his last two outings and now gets to face a struggling Bills offensive line that has surrendered 19 sacks already this season. As for offense the Panthers are going to ground n pound against the Bills 32nd ranked rush defense . QB Jake Delhomme has won eight of his last 10 games against the AFC and when Jonathan Stewart has at least 14 carries, the Panthers are 9-0. The Panthers average 17ppg and give up 25ppg, while averaging 16.7ppg at home and allow 27.5ppg. They are 1-4 ATS and 3-2 over/under.

Recent Trends to Consider:
  • Bills are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games.
  • Bills are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0.
  • Panthers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
  • Panthers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 150 yards passing in their previous game.
  • Panthers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
  • Under is 8-2 in Bills last 10 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0.
  • Under is 9-1 in Panthers last 10 games in Week 7.

Florida vs Mississippi State College Football Odds, College Football Predictions & College Football Picks: The Florida Gators are in Starkville, Mississippi this weekend to take on SEC rival Mississippi State. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm ET at Davis Wade Stadium and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN. College Football Odds at online bookmaker SBGglobal.com have Florida listed as a -23 against the spread road favorite.

Florida survived a huge scare last weekend, just getting by Arkansas 23-20 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, to Florida vs Mississippi State College Football Odds, Predictions & Picksmove to 6-0 and further secure their first place position atop the SEC East. The Gators trailed late but scored 10 fourth quarter points to pull out the narrow win. Quarterback Tim Tebow directed Florida's offense, which had four turnovers in the game, to 24 first downs and 391 total yards while completing 17-of-26 passes for 255 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the ball 27 times for 69 yards.

Florida's banged up defense, which could be minus up to three starters against the Bulldogs, gave up 357 yards to the Razorbacks, but still retained their spot as the nation's top unit.

Head Coach Urban Meyer indicated his team better not sleep on Mississippi State, despite the Bulldogs 3-4 record.

"We better be ready," Meyer said. "They are doing everything on defense that [has] bothered us on offense."

The Bulldogs snapped a three game losing streak last weekend, beating Middle Tennessee State 27-6 in Murfreesboro. Mississippi State's defense held the Blue Raiders to 248 total yards and a 1.7 yards per carry average in the win. They also created four turnovers while the offense went without a ball security miscue for the first time this season. The Bulldogs are currently -4 in turnover margin on the year, despite last week's effort. If they can hang on to the ball, something they could not do in losses to LSU, Georgia Tech, and Houston, than they may have a shot at staying in this game.

Head Coach Dan Mullen has more than staying in it on his mind, though.

"We're coming in, planning to win the football game," Mullen said. "You never go play a game that you think you can't win. Our guys are focusing on winning the game, and focusing on doing the things you have to do to win the football game."

College Football Odds Betting Trend: The Bulldogs are 1-3 straight up but 4-0 against the spread over the last five years when playing as a home dog coming off a road win.

SBGglobal.com Florida vs Mississippi State College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks:

Florida Gators -23 (-105), Over 49.5 (-110)

Mississippi State Bulldogs +23 (-105), Under 49.5 (-110)
