Left-hand reliever Antonio Bastardo was credited with the win for the Phillies and right-hander Jose Contreras earned his first save of 2011. Halladay pitched well in his 2011 debut against the Astros on April 1 only giving up one run through six innings but the Phillies offense had to score three runs in the ninth inning to pull out a 5-4 victory in the season opener.
