The Baltimore Orioles will look to rebound from their first loss of the season this evening as they take on the Tigers in a rubber match game at Camden Yards. Tonight's game three finale is scheduled to get underway at 7:05pm ET at Oriole Park. The latest MLB Odds and Predictions have Baltimore listed as a -150 moneyline favorite; the game total is set at 9.5 with the Under presently drawing -125 odds.
The Tigers had a difficult time figuring out Baltimore hurler Jake Arrieta in game one of this series as he limited Jim 
Leyland's squad to six hits and one earned run over six innings in the Orioles 5-1 victory. Detroit's bats came alive yesterday, though, as the team hammered out 12 hits and seven runs to take game two 7-3.
Miguel Cabrera, who is batting .368 with a .435 on-base percentage through the Tigers first five games, went 2-for-4 with a home run to help even the series at a game apiece while improving Detroit's record to 2-3.
The Tigers will shoot for the series win today with 11 year veteran Brad Penny toeing the rubber. Penny had a horrendous debut for Detroit at Yankee Stadium last week as he gave up seven hits and eight earned runs (4.1 innings pitched) in a 6-10 loss to New York.
Penny, who has spent the majority of his career in the National League, will be making his third career start against the Orioles this evening. He racked up a 7.71 ERA in his first two appearances against the O's after yielding 11 hits and eight earned runs over 9.1 innings of work.
Baltimore, which currently leads the league with a 1.80 team ERA, will call on 22 year old righty Chris Tillman to get them back on the winning track tonight. Tillman was brilliant in his first outing of the season, allowing no hits and no runs in six innings of the Orioles 3-1 win at Tampa Bay on April 2nd.
The Anaheim, California native is 1-0 in three career appearances against Detroit with a 3.20 ERA. Tillman struck out 16 Tigers, who hit just .159 against him, in those outings (19.2 innings).
