National League West rivals Colorado and Arizona meet for the fourth time this season tonight when they square off in a game two showdown at Chase Field in Phoenix. The Diamondbacks, who took last night's series opener 4-3, will go for the series win this evening with second year pro Barry Enright on the hill. The Rockies will counter Enright with 23 year old right hander Jhoulys Chacin. The latest MLB Odds have Colorado and the Under 9.5 listed as -135 and -120 favorites respectivley.
Arizona won its second straight game last night, turning back the Rockies 4-3 at Chase Field to improve to 13-15 on the 
season. The Diamondbacks' Justin Upton starred in the tightly contested ball game after going 3-for-4 at the plate. Upton, who hit his sixth homer of the season in the bottom of the eighth inning, also had one run scored and one RBI in the key victory.
Southpaw Joe Saunders held Colorado to six hits and three earned runs over six innings for his third quality start of the year.
The loss dropped the Rockies to 17-10 overall, but they maintained their four game lead over the Dodgers in the NL West standings thanks to the Cubs 4-1 defeat of Los Angeles last night.
Colorado, which has lost two in a row and three of its last four games, will look to get back on track tonight as Jhoulys Chacin aims for his fourth win of the season. Chacin is 3-2 with a 2.91 ERA, but the Venezuela native has allowed 13 hits and seven earned runs in his last two outings, both of which the Rockies lost.
Chacin's track against the Diamondbacks, although small in sample size, is a good one, though. The right handed hurler is 2-1 with a 1.85 ERA in five career appearances against Arizona (24.1 innings).
The Diamondbacks' Barry Enright owns a 5.76 ERA and 1.62 WHIP heading into tonight's contest. He is, however, coming off his best performance of the year, an 11-2 win over the Cubs in which he yielded five hits and two earned runs over 6.2 innings. Enright is 1-0 with a 1.35 ERA in one career start opposite Colorado.
First pitch in this evening's game is scheduled for 9:40pm ET.
