The Louisiana born hurler is 26-6 with a 3.40 ERA in 40 career appearances against the Orioles.
Baltimore, which fell to a major league worst 7-20 with last night's loss, will counter Pettitte with second year pitcher David Hernandez. Hernandez has struggled early in his sophomore campaign as he comes into today's game with a 0-3 record and 4.55 ERA. The Orioles have won his last two starts, though, beating the Red Sox 7-6 and 5-4.
Take the Over 9.5 in this game. While New York will most likely win, it is never a good idea to lay down at -275 moneyline odds in baseball, especially in a rivalry game.
