Santana has had great success against the Marlins, though, sporting a 6-1 record and 1.66 ERA in eight career starts against the Fish.
Florida is presently 16-18 and tied for last place in the East with the Braves. However, despite their current standing, the Marlins are just 4.5 games back of the Phillies and two games behind the third place Mets.
Twenty-six year old Josh Johnson will take the ball for skipper Fredi Gonzalez tonight. Johnson is 3-1 in seven starts with a 3.35 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. Opponents are hitting just .222 off of the big right hander, but he did have his worst outing of the year against the Mets when he gave up five hits and four earned runs over five innings in a 1-7 season opening loss.
