MLB Odds Braves vs Twins MLB Picks – June 11th, 2010: Tonight signals the second round of interleague play and the timing could not be better as the Braves and Twins, which begin at three game set at Target Field, both occupy first place in their respective divisions. First pitch in this evening's series opener is set for 8:10pm ET. MLB Picks at SPORTSBETTING.com have the Twins listed as a -145 moneyline; the game total is set at 7.5.

Atlanta has been the hottest team in baseball over the past few weeks, going a ridiculous 12-4 in its last 16 games. The MLB Odds: Braves vs Twins MLB Picks - June 11th, 2010Braves current streak has blasted them into first place in the National League East and given them a 2.5 game lead over the Phillies with a 35-26 record.

Atlanta has fallen off some recently, though, losing a three game set to the Dodgers 1-2 and splitting a four game series with the woeful Diamondbacks.

Veteran pitcher Tim Hudson will get the start tonight for the Braves as he looks to win his seventh game of the season. Hudson is 6-1 in his 12 starts with an impressive 2.44 ERA. The Auburn product is 3-0 on the road this year with a 2.66 ERA, despite walking 22 batters while striking out just 16 (50.2 innings pitched). Atlanta is 5-1 in the right-hander's last six visits to the mound, losing only to the Dodgers (6/06) after he yielded nine hits and three earned runs over seven innings of work.

Minnesota stands at 35-25 after winning back-to-back series against the Athletics and Royals. The Twins, which are 20-10 at Target Field, possess at 4.5 game lead over the second place Tigers in the American League's Central Division.

Countering Hudson tonight is 26 year old Dominican native Francisco Liriano. Liriano, who struggled in his return from Tommy John surgery last season, has regained his form this year, going 5-3 in 11 starts with a 3.10 ERA. The big lefty, who is 2-1 in four home starts with a 2.25 ERA, was masterful in his last outing as he allowed just five hits and one earned run while striking out 10 in a 4-3 win over the Athletics.

MLB Picks Betting Trend: The Twins are 10-0 straight up in their last 10 games as a home favorite with a moneyline spread between 140 and 160.
