The Diamondbacks, it could be said, have been snake bit this season as they kick off tonight's series sitting dead last in the National League West with a 27-43 record. Arizona, which is coming off a six game American League road swing, has lost five of its last six contests to fall to 7-11 in the month of June.
Rodrigo Lopez will look to get his team headed in the right direction as he toes the rubber tonight at Chase. The 34 year old Mexico native has contributed more to the Diamondbacks woes than he has alleviated them, though. Lopez is a lackluster 2-6 in 14 starts with a 4.70 ERA and he is an even worse 1-3 at home with a 5.40 ERA and .306 batting average against.
