Lincecum tied a season high for runs allowed (five) in his previous outing. He lasted six innings and struck out eight, but walked four in a loss. After struggling early, Lincecum zoomed through the fifth and sixth before surrendering a three-run homer in the seventh. The righty threw 121 pitches, one off his career high, and has thrown 110 or more in four of his past five starts.
Mark Reynolds drove in three runs to help the Diamondbacks defeat the Giants 10-2 on Friday, as -145 favorites. The 12 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (7).
Stephen Drew and Chris Young drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Diamondbacks. Dan Haren allowed two runs over eight innings of work in the win.
