 The Arizona Diamondbacks host the Philadelphia Phillies tonight, Monday July 27, for game one of a three game series. The Phillies lead the Diamondbacks 4-3 this season, but are split 2-2 in Arizona. In his last outing, Garland pitched effectively in hitter-friendly Coors Field as he yielded three runs on five hits with five strikeouts in seven innings. But alas, he received a no-decision. In two career starts against the defending champion Phillies, Garland is 0-1 with a 9.90 ERA. The Diamondbacks are ranked 27 in hitting with a batting average of .251 and are averaging 4.5 runs per game this season with an OPS of .739.
