It’s never easy to pick the heavy underdog. Which is why at first glance when you see the San Diego Padres Cy Young candidate Jake Peavy take the mound at home against the Arizona Diamondbacks you think that San Diego must be the sure shot pick.

I have to go with the hotter team in this heated rivalry. San Diego is coming home to their families after a long road trip and I think the baby backs at +200 are worth a small play to pull off the upset.
