World Series 2011 Predictions: With the MLB Regular Season finally over, who do you like best to become the next World Series Champs for 2011? Would it be the American League East Champion (97-65) New York Yankees and their high-octane offense? Or will it be the National League East kings, (102-60) Philadelphia Phillies and their version of the Big Three?

World Series 2011 PredictionsBefore we get started, let’s wipe the board clean, and establish which teams will be in this year’s tournament and whom they will be matched up against. Our three American League Division are the NY Yankees, (95-67) Detroit Tigers (Central) and (96-66) Texas Rangers (West). The AL Wild Card belongs to the (91-71) Tampa Bay Rays, as they closed out the season on a surge, while the (90-72) Boston Red Sox simply faded away.

In the National League, our three Divisional winners were: the Phillies (best record in baseball), the (96-66) Milwaukee Brewers (Central) and the (94-68) Arizona Diamondbacks (West). In a similar scenario as the AL’s WC, the (89-73) Atlanta Braves collapsed and the (90-72) St. Louis Cardinals capitalized and snuck into the MLB Playoffs on day 162 of the season.

So who will go into the 2011 Major League Baseball Postseason as the clear MLB Picks favorites to win the World Series 2011 Predictions? According to the experts, the Phillies and Yankees will once again meet in the Fall Classic. Because of three big reasons — Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee and Roy Oswalt — as well as home field being in their favor, World Series 2011 Predictions experts give the Phils the edge over the Bronx Bombers.

Here’s how the most recent, fresh World Series 2011 Predictions stack up:

Philadelphia Phillies: [3/2]

New York Yankees: [3/1]

Detroit Tigers: [7/1]

Texas Rangers: [7/1]

Milwaukee Brewers: [8/1]

Tampa Bay Rays: [8/1]

Arizona Diamondbacks: [12/1]

St Louis Cardinals: [15/1]
