Sabathia will be making his fourth straight start on only three days rest when he takes the mound today. On Sunday he allowed an unearned run on four hits in a complete-game, 122-pitch win over the Cubs. Sabathia threw 334 pitches the last nine days of the regular season, starting three straight times on three days' rest.

Myers posted a 1.80 ERA in 11 starts down the stretch after struggling the first half of the season. There is some concern regarding his final two outings in which he allowed 14 earned runs and 19 hits in 8 1/3 innings. He has a 1.77 ERA in eight career appearances against the Brewers.

Cole Hamels fanned nine batters over eight scoreless innings on Wednesday as the Phillies defeated the Brewers 3-1 in Game 1 of this series.

The Phillies won that game as -220 favorites, while the four runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Chase Utley drove in two runs and scored once for the Phillies. Brad Lidge struggled in finishing off the ninth for the save.

Ray Durham scored the only run for the Brewers after a throwing error from Utley. Yovani Gallardo gave up three runs over four innings in the loss.
