Tampa Bay Rays at Chicago White Sox ALDS Game 4 PredictionsTampa Bay Rays at Chicago White Sox ALDS Game-3 Predictions…Having won games one and two of the best-of-five American League Divisional Series at home, the Tampa Bay Rays can move on to the league championship series (ALCS) with a win today on the White Sox home field, U.S. Cellular Field. If the White Sox win they would force a fourth game tomorrow also in Chicago. Hoping to continue the series, the White Sox are going with John Danks as starting pitcher for today’s game. Danks is 12-9 on the season with a 3.32 ERA. Countering for Tampa Bay is Matt Garza. The right hander Garza went 11-9 during the regular season with a 3.70 ERA.

Oddsmakers at online sportsbook JustBet.com , list Danks and the White Sox as -130 money line favorites with an 8 ½ (-105) total. Rays backers are getting +120 money line odds.

Danks held the Twins scoreless over eight innings on Tuesday in the 1-0 tiebreaker victory to win the American League Central. He will be coming back on regular rest, after making the first start on three days rest of his career. Danks has a 5-6 record with a 3.66 ERA at home this year.

Garza started for the Rays on Saturday against the Tigers, making his first start since Sept. 17, when he pitched against the Red Sox on short rest for the first time in his career. The 24-year-old right-hander was skipped in his next turn in an attempt to allow him to rejuvenate himself, and the plan seemed to work as Garza had electric stuff against the Tigers. Afterward, Garza reported that his arm felt great and he particularly liked his breaking stuff. Many on the team believe Garza has the best stuff on the Rays staff. He has a mid-90s fastball that sinks, a curve, a slider and a changeup.

The Rays scored three runs in the eighth inning on Friday as they defeated the White Sox 6-2 to take a 2-0 lead in this series.

The Rays won the game as -170 favorites, while the eight runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Dioner Navarro went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in leading the Rays. Scott Kazmir allowed two runs off eight hits over 5 1-3 innings in the win.

Jermaine Dye had four hits in five trips to the plate for the White Sox, who were +150 underdogs in that game. Mark Buehrle gave up five runs off 10 hits over seven innings in the loss.

ALDS Game 3 Prediction…Chicago will find a way to continue the series at home behind the arm of John Danks. White Sox -130 is the pick.
