The American League Championship Series (ALCS) between the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians moves to Jacobs Field in Cleveland for three games starting Monday night with the series tied, 1-1 in a the best of seven format. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. ET and televised on TBS.
The Indians will send right hander Jake Westbrook (6-9, 4.32 ERA) to the mound with hopes of taking control of the series. If Cleveland can manage a three game sweep of the Red Sox the series ends with Cleveland the champions. Westbrook is 3-2 with a 4.81 ERA in his career pitching against the Red Sox.
Westbrook was the loser in his only post-season start pitching 5-innings against the Yankees at New York giving up 6-runs on 9-hits.
The Boston Red Sox are countering with right handed pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka (Dice-K) with hopes of taking control of the series back vice going down a game in Cleveland. Matsuzaka recorded 15 wins to 12 losses with a 4.40 ERA in his debut season in Boston.
Matsuzaka last pitched Oct. 5 in the ALDS against the Los Angeles Angels going 4.2 innings and giving up 3-runs on 7 hits.

The Indians put up seven runs in the top of the 11th inning on Saturday night en route to a 13-6 road win over the Red Sox in Game 2 of the series.

Franklin Gutierrez hit a three-run shot for Cleveland in the 11th inning of Game 2. Jhonny Peralta and Grady Sizemore also homered for Cleveland in that win.
Manny Ramirez and Mike Lowell each homered and drove in three runs for Boston in a losing cause.
