We all know the major league teams can expand their rosters after the 1st of September. In doing so, they call up young players they want to evaluate. Teams will give them a chance to play to figure out who is who in their system. So when you see a game between the Royals and the Twins and the Twins are –300 be careful! The pitcher that may be going for the Royals could surprise the favored Twins and make a quality start. these 3-1 ’s are too risky to lay at that price. My underdogs-only system shows you how to beat that scenario and has won at 70% so far this year. If you are interested contact me at the address below. I have noticed some really great players that somehow have fallen between the cracks and haven’t gotten the publicity they have earned this year.

Here are a few: Matt Holliday, OF Colorado, he’s hitting .336 with 28 homers, 95 RBIs and 40 doubles. Half of that hitting has come against the “sponge balls” they now use in the Rockies home games.
Ichiro, OF, who will again get 200 hits, is only hitting .314 this year with 38 stolen bases in Seattle. He's also now playing centerfield like a pro. Rafael Furcal, SS, he hit .333 in July, and .459 so far in September after just .198 in April, and is leading the Dodgers to the NL West title after signing for over $30 million in the offseason. His season average is now at .297, his OB percentage is .365 and he has 34 steals.
Miguel Cabrera, 3B, the Marlins infielder who has no protection in that young lineup, is hitting a cool .340 with 25 homers and 95 RBIs. He too is leading an overachieving club to a possible playoff spot.
Remember my pick to win it all in MLB this year is the Twins…that is if Francisco Liriano can come back at 100% and stay healthy throughout the playoffs. Brick Bats:
Several beat reporters here in Chicago are saying that last week when White Sox closer Bobby Jenks returned to Chitown for a checkup, he was told to rest his sore hip pointer but refused. Since his return, his velocity is way down, he has lost two games and blown another save. In fact in one game with a save opportunity at hand, skipper Ozzie Guillen bypassed Jenks and went to McCarthy who lost the save and the game.
