LeBron James and his Miami Heat all-star mates Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade can expect to hear a resounding round of boos when they take court at United Center for their game with the Chicago Bulls (8 pm ET). The Heat, had better be focused too, coming off back to back road losses to the Clippers and Nuggets.
There was a time during the LeBron tour, when Bulls management might have thought they were getting James, the Association's best player. It wasn't to be as the Bulls were left at the alter while LeBron joined Wade in Miami along with Bosh. The crowd should be lively Saturday night for a game that oddsmakers have tabbed the Bulls as slight 2 1/2 point spreads favorites. NBA betting fans can keep tabs of the most up to the moment NBA Spreads , prior to making their picks.
Miami backers have taken some hits in the pocket book as the Heat have failed to cover the spread losing to the Nets and Nugetts. If the Heat lose tonight, it would match the only three game streak of the season when they played three in five nights losing at Memphis, Indiana at home, and at Orlando Nov. 20-24. The Heat had one other losing streak, dropping two at home (Nov 9-11) Utah and Boston. Prior to losing at LA and Denver earlier this week, Miami had won nine straight. During that nine games streak, the Heat went 4-5 ATS while the OVER cashed in seven of nine games.
Chicago will be looking to win its eighth straight win at United Center since January 2005.The Bulls, currently running away in the Central Division standings, have not done much to brag about over the past couple of weeks splitting their previous six games 3-3 both SU and ATS, but have gone 6-4 SU in their last 10 and split 5-5 ATS. The OVER/UNDER has also split 5-5 over the past 10 games.
NBA Picks : I'm going out on a limb and predicting a Bulls SU victory, but it might be on a buzzer beater. I'm taking the Heat +2 1/2 to cover ATS.
