The Thunder beat Dallas in overtime Friday night behind a career-high 52 points from Kevin Durant They lost for the first time in five overtime games this season. They got 37 points from Durant and 36 from Russell Westbrook.

A missed free throw by Durant with 1:44 to go in OT ended his streak of 50 consecutive free throws. Durant scored 30 or more points in a career-best fourth consecutive game.The Thunder are 20-5 this season when Westbrook and Durant each score at least 20 points.

The Clippers (32-10, 19-4 H) lost to the Golden State Warriors 99-106, on the road. Blake Griffin had 26 points and 13 rebounds for the Clippers. Jamal Crawford added 24 points off the bench. Chris Paul, playing in his second game after sitting out three with a knee injury, had just four points on 1 of 7 shooting.

Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro said the team would reevaluate Paul’s status before clearing him to play against Oklahoma City tonight. “You could see he doesn’t have that extra burst like he usually has,” Del Negro said. “It’s nice to have him out there because he settles everything down. It’s just that he can’t play at the level he’s used to with the injury.”
