The New Orleans Hornets have had the Phoenix Suns beat the last two times these two have met. The last time the Suns hosted the Hornets, the Suns were 8-point favs to win with the O/U set at 208. The final was 113-118 Hornets, the Suns failed to cash in on the spread and posted way over the total set.

Online sportsbook Sportsbook.com has the Phoenix Suns at -5 point favorites when they host the New Orleans Hornets at US Airways Center tonight.

The New Orleans Hornets are riding a three game losing streak after going on a nine game winning streak. Their most recent loss was to the Utah Jazz, 88-110 on the road. The top performer on the night was Jannero Pargo with 24pts and Tyson Chandler was held to a measly 8pts. The Hornets offense is averaging 99 PPG, ranked 11th from the field and they’re the fourth best team at draining the 3-pointer making 77%.

Their defense allows a low 93 PPG and they defend averagely in the paint and at preventing the 3-pointer. The Hornets have great players who can come off the bench and getter done. The go to guy for the Hornets is Chris Paul who averages 20pts, 10 assists and 2.5 steals. Tyson Chandler is a rebounding fool averaging 12 PG and he’s 60% when shooting from the field. The Hornets are currently sitting in 2nd place in the Southwest Standings. They are 29-17-1 ATS, 15-7-1 ATS on the road and 8-15 over/under on the road. Get your NBA Picks in now !

The Phoenix Suns have eight wins in their last ten games after their most recent, 118-104, home win over the Charlotte Hornets. Steve Nash struggled on the night with 8pts and 2-5 from the 3-point line, but managed to help out with 11 assists. Raja Bell and Amare Stoudamire each chipped in 24pts. The Suns had a commanding 24pt lead at one time.  The Suns put up the second most points of any team in the league averaging 109 PPG and they’re the best at shooting from the field. They are the third best team at sinking the 3-pointer, but they’re the worst team at pulling down offensive rebounds, go figure!

On defense is where the Suns must improve. They allow a league high 103 PPG and they excel at preventing the 3-pointer.The top producer for the Suns is Amare Stoudamire who averages 22pts while Steve Nash averages 11 assists. The Suns are in 1st place in the Pacific Standings. They are 22-24-2 ATS, 9-12-1 ATS at home and 13-9 over/under at home. Get your NBA Pick in now!
