The Houston Rockets have a brief stop in Milwaukee tonight to face the Bucks before heading back to Texas to begin a six game home stand. The East versus West bout tips off at 8:00pm ET at the Bradley Center in Wisconsin. NBA Picks: Houston Rockets vs Milwaukee Bucks at SBGglobal.com are favoring the Rockets -6 against the spread. The Bucks currently sit at third place in the Central division at 24-29 and 17 games behind the first place Cavaliers. They have dropped four of their last six games, including their last outing on Saturday night against division rival Detroit. The Pistons handed Milwaukee a 121-126 overtime loss at the Bradley Center to drop the Bucks home record to 14-9. Milwaukee ranks 11th in the league in home scoring average at 101.8 points per game and sixth in assists per game at home, dealing an average of 23.5. Milwaukee is in the Eastern Conference Playoff hunt, but at this juncture they are still on the outside looking in. The Bucks, who are ninth in the overall conference standings, trail the New Jersey Nets by just a half game for the final post-season slot. Luckily for Scott Skiles club they have plenty of time to gain ground; however, they will be doing it without star players Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut. Redd is out for the season with a blown knee and Bogut is not scheduled return for at least eight weeks as a result of a back injury. Houston is in third place in their division as well, but they trail the first place Spurs by just four games in the Southwest. They are also breathing down the neck of second place New Orleans, sitting just a half game back of the Hornets. However, they risk falling further behind both clubs if they maintain their current level of play. Rick Adelman's team has lost four of their last eight games, including their last road affair — a 93-104 failure in Memphis. The Rockets are not a road powerhouse, having won just 13 of their 27 road outings this year. They rank 20th in the league in road scoring average at 96.5 per game but have kept themselves alive with sound defense. Houston allows an average of 95.2 per game (ninth best in the league) and holds team to just 33.9 percent three point shooting (fourth best). Houston is sixth in the Western Conference overall standings, they trail the first place Lakers by 10.5 games. SBGglobal.com's NBA Picks: Houston Rockets vs Milwaukee Bucks Houston Rockets -6 (-110), Over 195.5 (-110), -240 (Moneyline) Milwaukee Bucks +6 (-110), Under 195.5 (-110), +200 (Moneyline) NBA Picks Betting Trend: Houston is 9-1 straight up in their last 10 games as a road favorite with a total between 195 and 200. Milwaukee is 1-9 straight up as a home underdog with a total between 195 and 200. The Bucks are 0-9 straight up as a home dog with a spread between 4 and 7.5 and a total between 195 and 200. |
