After playing a shorts two game home stand of NBA picks the Dallas Mavericks hit the road and travel east to take on the New Jersey Nets. Although the New Jersey Nets are coming off a win of NBA picks they are hoping that it will get them back on track. Their win over Charlotte in their last game snapped a three game losing streak. Overall the Nets have really struggled as they have lost 12 of their last 15 games including a long 9 game losing streak. Their recent woes have put them at 21-19 overall. They haven’t taken advantage of their home court either as they are only 10-15 SU on the season. Offensively they are woeful in comparison to the Mavericks as they score only 93.6 points per game. Their defense hasn’t been able to keep them in the game either as they give up an average of 98.3 points per game and that could be deadly against the high scoring Mavericks.
Dallas comes into this one red hot but they have had problems covering the number even with their winning success as they are only 6-15 ATS after 2 or more consecutive wins this season which could be why the 5.5 number seems a bit low and considering that New Jersey is a horrible 2-11 ATS in home games off an upset win as a road underdog over the last 3 seasons.
