Suns at Mavericks NBA Predictions: The Phoenix Suns visit the Dallas Mavericks at 9 pm Eastern Wednesday in a ESPN televised game. The Suns are tied for the 5-6-7 spots in the West with San Antonio and Oklahoma City. The Mavericks, meanwhile, lead the Southwest Division by a game and a half over the second-place Spurs, and they own the three spot in the West.

The Mavericks (32-21) and Suns (32-22) were active in trade talks during the NBA's All-Star weekend in Dallas, but it was the Mavs who made the big move, acquiring Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood and DeShawn Stevenson from Washington in a seven-player deal.
The jury will be out for awhile on this trade by Dallas at least until the new blood works its way into their system.
