The Boston Celtics still have injury problems with some of their top players. Kevin Garnett is probable and Ray Allen had his thumb bent back in practice Monday but is expected to play. In the Celtics last five games without Garnett, they’ve averaged 102 PPG and allowed an average 95 PPG. When the Celtics get a solid days rest they are 17-9-0. They will be looking to add on to their current five game winning streak, after their last win over the N.Y. Knicks 111-103 as 8-point favs. When on the road they average 99 PPG and they are currently 18-5 on the road. Paul Pierce is the top producer averaging 20 PPG. Ray Allen is their best 3-point shooter, which would explain their 5th ranking.

On defense the Celtics are rock solid. They allow a 1st ranked 89 PPG, they are the best team at defending in the field and at preventing the 3-pointer from being unleashed. The Celtics currently sit in 1st place in the Atlantic Standings. They are 31-17-2 ATS, 15-7-1 ATS on the road and 11-12 over/under on the road. Get your free NBA Pick in now!
