NBA Picks: Indiana Pacers vs Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets to for a franchise record 16^th NBA Picks win in a row tonight when they host the Indiana Pacers.  Much was written about the concern over losing their star Yao Ming but they have played as if they never lost him going a perfect 3-0 SU since he’s been out of the line up.  The Rockets most recent win was a 103-89 victory over the Denver Nuggets back on Sunday when Tracy McGrady scored 22 points and Shane Battier added a season high 20 points as the pair did an excellent job picking up the offense for the missing Yao who averaged 22 points and nearly 11 rebounds in 55 games he played this season.  Not only have the Rockets been a force on offense but they have played decent on the defensive side of the court as well allowing only 90.7% per game on their home court.  This will be the second meeting versus the Pacers as Houston won on the road in a close 106-103 victory.  The win was their second in a row in this long streak.  The public is looking for their Winning streak to continue as SBGglobal.com has the Rockets listed as a large -11 point home favorite.

The Indiana Pacers enter tonight’s NBA Picks contest on a winning streak of their own after beating both the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks.  In their most recent wins Mike Dunleavy tied a season high mark with 36 points against the Raptors and matched that performance netting 36 for the second straight game against the Bucks on Sunday.
