Point guard Baron Davis played very well on Golden State's recent four-game road trip, scoring over 30 points in three out of four games. His assist totals are down in March, though, at 6.0 per game. The Warriors have won two straight and 12 of 16, although they're still only in eighth place in the Western Conference. On Saturday they knocked off the Orlando Magic 104-95; it was the second consecutive game Golden State has held an opponent below triple digits, impressive considering it has the worst defence in the NBA.
The Raptors are in a series slump, losing four of their past six games. The skid has coincided with the absence of forward Chris Bosh. Bosh, suffering from a knee injury, is the team's leader and offensive focal point and they have looked lost without him. Toronto did beat lowly Seattle 114-106 on Sunday but the Warriors game is part of a five-game road trip, all of which Bosh could miss. The Raptors were hoping last year's first-overall pick, Andrea Bargnani, would step up in Bosh's place; but as has been the case all season, Bargnani has been very inconsistent, scoring 27, 6, 6, 12, 27 and 16 points.
