Well, the Celtics get Dwyane Wade, who will be determined to carry the Heat into a second-round matchup with the Cavaliers. So he will be plenty motivated. Will the Celtics? Can they turn it on in the playoffs? A good sign was the recent play of Paul Pierce, who went 22 for 34 from the field in his final two games. Boston is healthy, rested, and has history on its side. Also, Kendrick Perkins eats up Jermaine O’Neal, so Boston will have the edge in the paint.
The Celtics will win this series but it might take seven games to do it.
