Allen had a poor outing in Game 1 were he made 1 of 12 shots for 4pts. In Game 2 he finished with 30pts after making 9 of 18 from the field, 6 for 10 at the arch and a perfect 6 for 6 at the line. Glen Davis had a great night with 26pts while Paul Pierce finished with 18pts. Pierce asserted himself in this series. Although Paul Pierce is averaging 20.5 points, his shooting percentage is down from 45.7 percent in the regular season to 40 percent, and he's deferring to teammates. "Other guys are stepping up for us," he said. "That's what's big for us right now." Rajon Rondo has stepped it up a notch in Game 1 with 29pts, but was held to 18pts in Game 2. The Celtics have a 50-36 rebounding edge over the Bulls and 32-12 disparity in second-chance points. Kendrick Perkins and Rondo each grabbed 12 offensive rebounds as no Bulls player reached double digits. The Bulls have found their savior in Derrick Rose who finished with 36pts in Game 1, but was held to a low 10pts in Game 2. Derrick Rose was recently named NBA Rookie of the Year. Ben Gordon was their top scorer in Game 2 with a high 42pt night, he outscored Ray Allen 42-30, but it was Allen who won the game with a three pointer with two seconds left. "I think what's making these games so exciting is they're won or lost on one or two possessions," Chicago's Joakim Noah said. "The shots that are being made are off rebounds." The Bulls must improve on offensive rebounds, as they had eight to the Celtics 21 offensive rebounds and were beat underneath the basket and on the perimeter. J. Noah has to improve on rebounding, in Game 1 he pulled down 17 rebounds, but was held to eight in Game 2. Recent Trends to Consider:
