Mavericks at Spurs Game 3 2010 NBA Playoffs: The Dallas Mavericks will try to take back home court advantage in their NBA playoffs first round series when they visit the San Antonio Spurs for a Game 3 (9:30 p.m. Eastern, ESPN). Dallas won its series opener over San Antonio, but the Spurs got even with a 102-88 victory Wednesday night.
NBA Playoffs oddsmakers at SPORTSBETTING.com list the Spurs as 3 1/2-chalk favorites versus the Mavericks with a 194 total. Mavericks backers are getting +155 odds on the SPORTSBETTING moneyline while San Antonio is giving -170.
Tim Duncan poured in 25 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for a double-double on Wednesday, as the Spurs evened the best-of-seven first-round playoff series at a game apiece. The Spurs won Game 2 as a 3.5-point underdog, while the 190 points went UNDER the posted total of 194.5.
Manu Ginobili tossed in 23 points and grabbed five rebounds in the win. Dirk Nowitzki collected a double-double in the loss, netting 24 points and hauling down 10 boards.
NBA Predictions: The Mavericks are the NBA's best road team so San Antonio stealing home court advantage in Game 2 probably doesn't mean much. The Spurs haven't beaten Dallas in a playoffs series since 2003 and are underdogs to do so in these playoffs. The Maves are just one game better at home (28-13) than they were on the road (27-14) this season.
Dallas will come out battling to re-gain home court advantage and steal one in San Antonio. Take the Mavericks and the 3 1/2-chalk.
