Tony Parker, who tallied 21 minutes, had 12 points and three assists.
For the series, San Antonio is shooting 44 percent from the floor compared to the Mavs 47 percent mark. Dallas has also outdone their Texas counterpart from the charity stripe, connecting on 85 percent of their free throws while the Spurs have hit 79 percent of their foul shots.
The Mavericks now lead the season series between the two rivals 4-3, and they are up 2-1 at American Airlines Arena. Dallas has averaged 107 points per game versus San Antonio in home games this year; they poured in an average of 106.2 at home during the regular season.
The Spurs averaged a meager 96.2 points per game in away games this season, a number that most assuredly would have been more had Manu Ginobili been healthy.
