The second round of the 2011 NBA Playoffs officially get underway today as the eighth seeded Grizzlies face the fourth seeded Thunder in the Sooner State. This afternoon's series opener is scheduled to tip off at 1:00pm ET at the Oklahoma City Arena; it will be broadcast live on ABC. NBA Point Spreads have the Thunder listed as a -6.5 NBA Playoff Picks favorite and the Over/Under set at 195.

Memphis took the series 4-2 after limiting the Spurs, a team that 103.7 points per game during the regular season, to 94.3 points per contest. The Grizzlies averaged 97.5 per game for the series, a playoff total which ranks only behind the Thunder, Celtics, and Bulls headed into this afternoon's game.
Zach Randolph starred for Memphis in its six game ouster of San Antonio, averaging 21.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists for the series. Randolph, who will undoubtedly have Oklahoma City's attention for the next couple of weeks, produced double doubles in games one, five, and six,
The Thunder earned a trip to the second round by thumping Denver 4-1. Oklahoma City averaged a first round best 102.2 points per game as Kevin Durant dominated the Nuggets with his sharp shooting offensive attack.
Durant, who topped the 40 point mark on two occasions against Denver, averaged 32.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game in eliminating the Nuggets.
Durant had plenty of help from point guard Russell Westbrook, who tallied 23.8 points and 6.2 assists per contest in the five game set.
Memphis won the season series with the Thunder 3-1. The Grizzlies also produced a victory in their last game at OKC, beating the Thunder 105-101 in overtime in early February.
