The Chicago Bulls and the Boston Celtics will conclude their epic first round playoff series tonight at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston. The Bulls extended things to a game seven by outlasting the Celtics in a three overtime classic at the United Center on Thursday night. This evening's decisive contest is set for an 8:00pm ET tip off and will be broadcast live on TNT. 2009 NBA Playoffs: Chicago Bulls vs Boston Celtics Game 7 at SBGglobal.com have the Celtics listed as a -6 against the spread favorite. The game total is set at 195.5 with both the over and under receiving -110 odds. The average game score in the series is 223; every game has exceeded 195.5 thus far. Boston had their chances on Thursday night, but they could not close the door on a scrappy Bulls squad. Ray Allen did everything he could do to send the Celtics to the conference semi-finals; the veteran poured in 51 points and hit nine of the team's 11 three pointers. His effort, however, was not enough as Chicago shot 49.5 percent from the floor and 52.9 percent from beyond the arc (9-of-17). Paul Pierce scored 22 points in the loss, but had a costly turnover in the third extra period that Joakim Noah took the length of the floor for a thunderous dunk. Small forward John Salmons led the way for the Bulls, scoring 35 points in 60 minutes of play. Salmons dropped in points in almost every conceivable way. The six year veteran from Miami drained three pointers, connected on pull-up jumpers, and penetrated to the basket for layups. He was aided by center Brad Miller who had 23 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Miller hit several critical free throws in the final seconds of the third overtime to help Chicago ice the game 128-127. The Bulls are 1-2 at the Garden in the series, but their two losses have been by a combined five points. Two of the three games in Boston have gone to overtime with Chicago winning one of those contests 105-103. Vinny Del Negro's team is averaging 108.7 points per game versus the Celtics at TD Banknorth in these playoffs. Boston is posting an average of 109 points per game against the Bulls at home and they have averaged 113.1 per game for the series. Four of the six games in the best of seven series have gone to overtime, the defending champions are 1-3 in those contests. The winner of tonight's game will go on to meet the Orlando Magic in the conference semi-finals. Orlando beat the Philadelphia 76ers four games to two in their best of seven playoff.
