2009 NBA Playoffs: Cleveland Cavaliers vs Atlanta Hawks Game 3 at Sportsbook.com have the Cavaliers listed as a -8 against the spread favorite. The game total is set at 180. Only two of Cleveland's six 2009 playoff games have exceeded that score.

The well rested Cavaliers put another beat down on the injury plagued Hawks on Thursday night to take a 2-0 series lead. The 105-85 victory improved Cleveland playoff record to an unblemished 6-0 and it advanced their record at Quicken Loans Arena to 43-2 on the season.

Atlanta did not have an answer for the Cavs stifling defense as they connected on just 34.9 percent of their field goal attempts. They did manage to hit eight of their 17 three point shots, but that was not enough to overcome the red hot Cavaliers, who have held teams to an average of just 78.2 points per game this post-season.

Adding further to the Hawks woes was Joe Johnson's second half ankle sprain. Johnson, who scored just 10 points in 30 minutes, contends he will be ready for game three but his effectiveness will almost certainly be limited. His injury adds misery to a unit that has already been decimated by health misfortunes. Forwards Al Horford and Marvin Williams have been restricted throughout the playoffs and neither player played in Thursday night's loss.

LeBron James led the Cavs with 27 points; he was one of five Cleveland players in double figures. Mike Brown's squad hit 53.5 percent from the field and they outrebounded Atlanta 43 to 34.

The Cavaliers are now 5-1 against the Hawks this season, but they are 1-1 at Philips Arena. Atlanta has averaged just 88.8 points per game against Cleveland.
