The Denver Nuggets and the Dallas Mavericks will resume their best of seven playoff series at 5:00pm ET this evening. Denver currently leads the series 2-0 and they have yet to lose to the Mavericks this season. Tonight's battle will take place at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas and will be televised live on ESPN.

Denver continued their strong post-season play on Tuesday night by beating the Mavericks 117-105 at the Pepsi Center. The Nuggets shot 50 percent from the floor and controlled the glass by pulling down 42 rebounds, 12 of which were offensive. As a team, they dished out 28 assists and committed just nine turnovers.

Small forward Carmelo Anthony had 25 in the contest to improve his playoff scoring average to 24 points per game. Chauncey Billiups dropped in 18 and handed out eight assists.

The Mavericks had a decent night offensively, connecting on 47.4 percent of their shot attempts, but they were unable to keep up with the Nuggets. Dirk Nowitzki carried the scoring load for Dallas as he pumped in 35 on 11-of-20 shooting. The Mavericks, who had only three players in double figures for the game, clearly missed swingman Josh Howard's ability to penetrate the lane. Howard played just six minutes on Tuesday night due to a first quarter ankle sprain.

Denver improved their home playoff record to 5-0 with the win, but they now must find a way to be successful on the road. They are 1-1 in post-season road action and were a pedestrian 21-20 away from the Pepsi Center during the regular season. 

The Mavericks are 2-0 at American Airlines Arena this post-season; they won 32 of the 41 games they played there in the regular season.
