Kobe Bryant did his best to keep up with Stoudemire's inspired effort as he scored 36 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and handed out 11 assists; however, it was not enough to send the Lakers to a 3-0 series lead. Los Angeles subverted all its positives by turning the ball over 17 times and hitting just 9-of-32 from beyond the arc.
The Suns, which have won three of their last four at home against the Lakers, will need a victory tonight to have any chance at the series. Phoenix cannot afford to go back to the STAPLES Center down 1-3 as it has lost six in a row and eight of the last 10 at Los Angeles.
