2010 NBA Playoffs: Celtics vs Magic Game 5 Odds & Picks: The Boston Celtics could not close the deal on Monday night, but they will get another opportunity this evening as they play guest at the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida. Tonight's game five meeting between the Celtics and Magic is scheduled to tip off at 8:30pm ET on ESPN. 2010 NBA Playoffs Game 5 Odds & Picks at Sportsbook.com have Orlando listed as a -4 against the spread home favorite; the game total is set at 186.

Orlando showed some serious heart on Monday night, giving everything it had to stave off elimination, despite trailing the 2010 NBA Playoffs: Celtics vs Magic Game 5 Odds & PicksCeltics by three games in the best of seven Eastern Conference Finals. The Magic now have a glimmer of hope with an opportunity to get the series to 3-2 on their home court.

The Magic's 96-92 game four overtime victory featured a heavy dose of the big and small as center Dwight Howard and point guard Jameer Nelson both had huge nights. Howard, who was limited to a mere seven points in the team's game three loss, had 32 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocked shots in his best showing against Boston thus far. The ultra-athletic big man also left a few points out on the floor as he missed eight of his 14 free throw attempts.

Nelson added 23 points, nine assists, and five rebounds, giving Orlando an inside-out punch that the Celtics had no answer for on Monday.

Boston looked, at times, like it was ready to steal the game and move on to its second NBA Finals appearance in the last three years; however, 15 turnovers, including a costly one by Kevin Garnett toward the end of regulation, allowed the Magic to escape.

Paul Pierce had 32 points and 11 boards for the Celtics, but his 0-for-6 effort from long range cost the team in the end. Ray Allen chipped in with 22 points while Garnett and Rajon Rondo combined for just 23. Boston got just 12 points from its bench, six of those coming from Glen Davis.

The Magic, which are 38-9 at the Amway Arena counting the playoffs, have not lost three games in a row at home all season long. Look for Orlando to get this series back to Boston for a game six showdown on Friday night.

2010 NBA Playoffs Betting Trend: Orlando is 7-3 straight up in its last 10 games as a home favorite with a total between 185 and 190 (Under 7-2-1).
