The pivotal game is scheduled to tip off at 9:00pm ET at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California; it will be broadcast live on ESPN.

The Nuggets drew even with the Lakers at two games apiece on Monday night, scoring a blowout 120-101 win at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Denver had seven players reach double figures in scoring as they posted the highest point total of any team the Lakers have faced in the post-season.  

The Nuggets will now attempt to pull off the same feat that they did in game two, which is to beat the Lakers at the STAPLES Center. Denver, who was 21-20 on the road in the regular season, is 3-3 away from the Pepsi Center during the Playoffs.

Tonight's contest will be the first time the Nuggets have played at an opposing arena for a third game in any of their three Playoff series. Denver split their two road games in New Orleans and Dallas, but never played a third away contest in either series as they won both of them 4-1.

Carmelo Anthony, who is averaging 27.1 points per game in the Playoffs, has led the Nuggets to a 107.6 point per game road average this post-season. Denver, however, averaged 104.5 in games one and two at the STAPLES Center.

Los Angeles, which 7-2 at home during the post-season, has not suffered back-to-back losses in these Playoffs.

The Lakers shot a combined 43.3 percent from the floor versus Denver in games one and two and they hit 42 percent from beyond the arc in those contests. In their game one win they controlled the offensive glass, pulling down 17 offensive boards to Denver's seven. However, the Nuggets got the better of things in game two by grabbing 14 offensive rebounds.

Kobe Bryant is leading Los Angeles in Playoff scoring at 36.8 points per game. He scored a game high 40 in game one and he dropped in 32 in the Lakers game two home loss.
