The Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons meet in exhibition NBA action on Wednesday night at the Grand Rapids’ Van Andel Arena. The two teams played on Sunday as Detroit just got by a Denver team playing without stars Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson 109-106.

It is uncertain whether many stars will play on Wednesday. One star that is definitely out is Detroit’s Richard Hamilton who sprained his ankle in Sunday’s game. Preseason games are tough on NBA players since many of them don’t want to risk injury. "You don't want to put yourself in harm's way," Detroit head coach Flip Saunders said. "So it's a fine line that you have to watch." Denver may hold out their stars again on Wednesday since Iverson, Anthony and Kenyon Martin all played in Tuesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks in Green Bay.

Since Hamilton is out for Wednesday’s game, Flip Murray will get the start for the Pistons.
