The Miami Heat meet Southeast division rival Orlando tonight at the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida. The Magic are presently tied with the Hawks for the division lead while the Heat are battling to stay in the picture, sitting 2.5 games behind the two leaders. Tip-off in this division clash is set for 7:30pm ET on ESPN. NBA Picks at Sportsbetting.com have the Magic listed as a -9 against the spread home favorite; the game total is set at 193.

The Heat snapped a three game skid this past Sunday, just squeaking by the New Orleans Hornets 102-101 at Miami Heat vs Orlando Magic NBA Picks - November 25th, 2009AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. Miami connected on 37 of its 71 field goal attempts for a cool 52.1 percent while holding the Hornets to 36-of-91 from the field.

Dwyane Wade led all players in scoring, hitting on 12-of-21 from the field to finish with 31 points. The star guard, who has a career 30.7 scoring average against the Magic, also had six rebounds, six assists, and three blocked shots. Wade was not alone in his scoring barrage as four other Heat players reached double figures.

The victory, which brought Miami's record to 8-5, was critical as five of the team's next seven games are on the road. The Heat are 2-2 away from home this season where they are averaging 98 points per game and giving up 99.3 per contest.

Orlando improved to 11-3 over the weekend with a 104-96 win at Toronto. The victory was the fifth straight for Stan Van Gundy's squad and put them in a tie atop the Southeast standings with the red hot Atlanta Hawks. Newly acquired guard Vince Carter led the Magic with 24 points after hitting 7-of-13 in the second half. Carter's effort was complimented by Dwight Howard's 17 points and 12 rebounds as well as reserve guard J.J. Redick's 19. The former Duke Blue Devil came off the bench and nailed 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.

The Magic have owned the Heat at Amway Arena of late, winning six in a row (5-1 against the spread) and seven of the last eight against them at the facility. The two division rivals last played there in February of this year; the Magic won the game 122-99 despite a 50 point night from Wade.
