Celtics at Warriors NBA Picks – December 28, 2009: After stinking it up on the road against the Clippers at Staples Center Sunday night, the Boston Celtics will be looking to bounce back with a win when they play at Oracle Arena against Golden State tonight.
Boston blew a double-digit lead to the Clippers in the second half then lost the game on a buzzer beater by Baron Davis. The Celtics lost as 8 1/2-chalk favorites. Rajon Rondo led the Celtics with 20 points and Ray Allen had 13 points in the loss.
Like the Clippers, Golden State is coming off a big win in its last outing besting the Suns in a 132-127 shootouton Saturday. Golden State won the game as 3 1/2-point underdogs while the combined score sailed over the posted 233 1/2 points.
NBA Picks: The Celtics are not a sure thing in this game especially with Paul Pearce out of the lineup. Considering Golden State's high powered offense we think betting OVER the posted 210 1/2 total has good value.
