The NBA Southwest Division leaders Dallas Mavericks (42-9) look to continue their seven game winning streak when they play the Bucks (19-32) tonight in Milwaukee with tip-off at 8 p.m. EST. Dallas began its road trip by defeating the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers 106-89 on Sunday and easily covering the -7 point chalk as a road favorite. The Mavericks are currently favored in tonight’s game at -10 point chalk at Sportbet.com and the total is listed at 198. While on their seven-game winning streak, the Mavericks have covered three straight ATS while cashing for the UNDER in four of their last five games. The Mavericks have won nine of their last 10 games SU.
Tonight’s game will be the first between the Bucks and Mavericks this season. The two teams split their regular season series last year with each team winning at home. The Bucks have only lost to the Mavericks four times in Milwaukee with a 21-4 all-time home record. The Bucks have lost four of their last five games SU and have failed to cover the spread in three of five while the OVER has cashed in four straight games. In Milwaukee’s last outing on Sunday, they fell to the Denver Nuggets as Carmelo Anthony had a game-high 29 points and finished with a double-double as did teammate Steve Blake with 10 points and 11 assists. Milwaukee trailed by as many as seven in the final quarter, but came back to tie the game at 102 with just a little over a minute remaining. But a 7-0 run by Denver the rest of the way sealed the deal. Earl Boykins scored 26 points off the bench to lead Milwaukee. |
