McGrady, who has missed playing time over the past two seasons due to back spasms, takes to the court tonight as the team leader since the December departure of Yao Ming due to a broken leg. McGrady has averaged over 30-points in his last eight games after only averaging 19.2 points in the 20 games prior to his injury. On Monday (Jan. 8) McGrady led the Rockets to a road win over the Chicago Bulls handing them only their fourth home loss in 19 games at the United Center. McGrady scored 31 points with 15 of those coming in the fourth quarter. With the 84-77 win, Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy collected his 400th career coaching victory.
