Tomorrow night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, boxing fans will be treated to a fight for the WBA Welterweight Championship between "Sugar" Shane Mosley and Antonio Margarito. The 37 year-old Mosley last fought in September of 2008 when he scored a knock out of Ricardo Mayorga with just one second left in the 12th round, proving that he still has the stamina and power to contend with anyone. The Pomona, CA native has a record of 45-5-1 with 38 knockouts. Mosley will certainly pose a difficult challenge for Margarito as his conditioning is always superb and his chin is as solid as any boxing. He has never been knocked out or stopped in his entire professional career.

Margarito, nine years Mosley's junior, is the current WBA Welterweight Champion after handing Cotto his first professional loss in July of last year, scoring a TKO at 2:05 into the 11th round to win the belt. His last defeat occurred in July of 2007 when he lost by decision to Paul Williams in a WBO title bout.

Antonio, also the former IBF and WBO title holder, has a career record of 37-5-1 with 27 knockouts. He is somewhat a mirror of Mosley in that he is a tireless worker with a hard chin. Margarito is also recognized for his aggressiveness inside the ropes and his ability to carry out a game plan, regardless of the circumstances.
