The Jayhawks certainly have the talent to make it to Indianapolis and take care of business once there. In compiling its

Bill Self's squad also has championship experience in point guard Sherron Collins and center Cole Aldrich, both of which played on the Jayhawks 2008 national title team. All of those factors, in addition to the fact that Kansas will be battle tested by a rough Big 12 schedule, should make the team a lock for the round of 16.
Texas, like Kansas, will also be battle hardened by a tough conference slate, but should still have a great opportunity at a number one or two seed. Everything the Longhorns have done to this point indicates that they will get a favorable draw come March. Rick Barnes' squad has yet to lose a game (winning by an average of 23.9 points per game) and they rank second in the nation in scoring (88.2 per game) and first in rebounding (44.9).
Kentucky, presently No. 2 in both the Coaches and AP polls, looks to be headed toward a one or two seed as well with a 17-0 record. The Wildcats schedule will not be as difficult as the Jayhawks and Longhorns as the overall competition in the SEC is not as solid as the Big 12. Kentucky could easily go through the season with one or two losses (possibly none) and have a great deal of momentum come tournament time. The Wildcats are uber-talented too, with four starters averaging double figures in scoring, led by freshman John Wall's 17.3 per outing.
