The No. 15 Missouri Tigers mens basketball team travels to College Station, Texas for an early Saturday afternoon tussle with No. 12 Texas A&M at Reed Arena, with tip-off set for 1 PM ET. Missouri coach Mike Anderson will be looking for his first victory over the Aggies since taking reins of Missouri program. It will not be an easy taske either as Texas A&M is currently riding a 12-game win streak coming into the game. Most offshore sports shops favor the Aggies as a 5-point spreads favorite in this one with a 140 1/2 total. This game will be televised nationally by ESPN2. College Hoops fans need to keep up with the latest College Basketball Odds and Spreads now that the 2011 college basketball season is in full swing.
The betting public must like its chances following a trend that Missouri has a tough time against the Aggies as 89 percent of side wagers are on A&M while 92 percent are wagering the moneyline for a SU Aggies win.
Missouri, in spite of going 15-2 to this point, has already picked up a bad conference loss, falling on the road at Colorado 76-89. The Tigers rebounded with a home win over Nebraska Wednesday, but will need to be in championship form is they expect to knock off the Aggies at College Station today.
The Tigers have covered the betting spread (ATS) in 4-of-10 games lined by oddsmakers, while the OVER has cashed on the combined score total in 7-of-10.
One would have to go back to Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, to find the Aggies last loss to Boston College. Since that time, A&M has been in cruise mode winning their next 12 games. Its likely they will pick up their 13th straight victory today unless they're caught looking ahead to their home showdown with arch-rival Texas in four days (Jan. 19).
College Basketball Predictions : The Aggies get past Mizzou and cover the 5-chalk spread.
