Arkansas vs. Kentucky College Basketball Predictions: The last undefeated team in the nation, the Kentucky Wildcats, look to reach 19-0 when they host the Arkansas Razorbacks (8-10) in a SEC battle at Rupp Arena in Lexington at 4 pm Eastern ( SEC-TV).

Arkansas vs. Kentucky - College Basketball PredictionsCollege basketball oddsmakers at SPORTSBETTING.com list Kentucky as heavy 15 1/2-chalk favorites versus the Razorbacks with a 152 total. Moneyline odds are currently OFF the SPORTSBETTING college basketball board.

While the Hogs chances of getting a stright up win at Kentucky seem to be slim, their ability to cover as double-digit dogs has been pretty good of late. Arkansas covered as a 14-point underdog to then No. 1 Texas on January 5th losing by 11. Arkansas actually hung tough in that game until the waning moments. Maybe Arkansas' most impressive outing to date was on the road against a tough Mississippi State Bulldogs squad, only losing by a bucket 82-80 and covering as a 14-point road dog.

What will make life difficult for the improving Razorbacks is they have had only one day to prepare for the Wildcats while John Calipari's squad has had a week to get ready for Arkansas.

The Wildcats last played in Rupp on January 9th when they defeated Georgia 68-76. That game could be a measuring stick for today's game versus the Hogs. The Razorbacks are not as bad as their record indicates. The team was beset by injuries and suspensions throughout their non-conference schedule through November and December. The teams leader, point-guard Courtney Fortson, missed 14 games in the early going due to a rules violation suspension. Now that Arkansas has most of its team intact they have been a more difficult foe for the opposition.

College Basketball Prediction: The Wildcats are good but will face stiffer competition from the Hogs than what is expected. It's hard to give 15 1/2 points in the SEC regardless of who the competition is. We like Arkansas to cover but the Cats will more than likely pick up a 10 point win.
