by Reno Gold on Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Cincinnati at Louisville College Basketball Odds & Predictions: The Louisville Cardinals (12-7, 3-3 BIG EAST) will host their arch-rivals, the Cincinnati Bearcats (13-6, 4-3) in BIG EAST Sunday action (Noon Eastern) at Freedom Hall in Louisville. For the fourth straight year, Cincinnati and Louisville are playing just once during the BIG EAST Conference regular season.

College basketball oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com have installed Louisville as 7 1/2-chalk home favorites versus Cincinnati with a 142 total. Cincinnati backers are getting +280 odds on the Sportsbook moneyline while the Cardinals are giving -340.

Cincinnati has fought back after losing three straight BIG EAST Conference games to put together back-to-back wins over Notre Dame (60-58) and USF (78-70) at home. The Cardinals, who lost to Seton Hall on the road, 80-77, on Thursday night, are looking to stop a three-game BIG EAST slide that includes losses to nationally-ranked Villanova and Pittsburgh.

The Bearcats are 1-4 in away games this season and have a record of 8-31 (.205) in road games under Mick Cronin.

College Basketball Predictions: The Bearcats have shown they are not a good road team and winning at Freedom Hall will prove to be difficult. We like Louisville to cover today.
